Internet programs are a dime a dozen. I know because I have tried several dozen programs over the course of my internet career. I am always on the lookout for a new program that is true to it’s word and really does work.

When a couple Friends/Admins I work with in Global Success Team  introduced me to JBP, I was skeptical to say the least. Why? Because it sounded too good to be true. We all know that when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is, right?

So, I did my homework and read some articles. I couldn’t find anything negative about JBP. Surely someone had a complaint!? The only negative thing I could find was that there was so much to learn if you have never invested money before in the real world of investing.                                               It’s true, Just been paid is a rather complex program and requires research and due diligence. We are supposed feed our birds fruits and vegetables, but which is better for them?

The most important things to understand about your parrot’s diet are the needs for variety and moderation in  EVERYTHING you feed them. Let me explain why…

Fruits and vegetables each have different nutritional values. They are all great in their own way, but they all have something unique to offer the overall diet.  When compared, two veggies might both be high in vitamins C and A, which are essential to good health. However, one might be higher in calcium, the other higher in potassium  – which is why it is important to include both in the diet.  It is the variety in what you serve – day to day, week to week, that assures us that they get the proper balance of ALL the necessary vitamins and minerals.

Varying the diet also prevents us from providng too much or too little in any particular area of need. As strange as it sounds, the diet can be too heavy in certain nutrients and, in some cases, it can be as detrimental to good health as a deficiency.You should always look to avoid extremes and lean towards the moderation of foods with your parrot. If you are doing things the right way, you are offering a little bit of everything from the important food groups.

You asked which should be served with more regularity. The answer is vegetables – hands down.  It isn’t that fruits are bad, they have wonderfully healthy ingredients, but they contain a lot water and sugars. Water doesn’t benefit your bird nutritionally. It doesn’t make sense to let your bird fill up on something without value. Fruits also contain a great deal of sugar, which, in excess, can cause health and weight issues.

Vegetables offer more complete and varied nutrition without those detrimental side issues. Taking all things into consideration, vegetables benefit your bird in more ways than fruits.

I don’t want anyone to think I am suggesting that you eliminate fruit from the diet. That is absolutely not what you should do. Instead, limit it. I offer fruits to my birds as treats (it is sweet, after all), or in feedings later in the day once they have eaten their veggies from their morning meal.

1. Fruits with a lot of vitamin C, like oranges, will help your cuts heal faster.
2. Olive trees can live for more than 1,500 years
3. Pineapples are berries, just like strawberries and blueberries.
4. Strawberries are a member of the rose family and all it’s seeds are on the outside.
5. There are over 7,000 different types of apples in the world.
6. Yams and sweet potatoes are not the same thing.
7. Lettuce is a member of the sunflower family.
8. Pumpkins are 90% water.
9. Eating an apple is equivalent to drinking a cup of coffee. Although apples do not have caffeine, the processing of apple carbohydrates gives the body a boost more powerful than caffeine.
10. California oranges contain more natural sugar than Florida oranges.

 5 Great Ways to Have a Healthier Pet this Year!

#1. Allow your pet outside only under your control or supervision.

• Generally this means your dog is in either a fenced yard or on a leash, and your cat is on a leash or in an enclosure he can’t get out of, and other animals can’t get into.There’s a lot to be said for allowing animals to roam free so they can express their innate drive to explore, run, climb, hunt prey, and be their natural selves.

  But on the flip side, we should remember our pets’ wild counterparts spend the majority of their lives seeking what your Fluffy or Fido already enjoys – a secure, warm home with safe food to eat and clean water to drink.

  Allowing a pet dog or cat to roam free in a city or suburban neighborhood, while it might seem healthy in theory, is actually inviting trouble. That trouble can come in the form of predators, traffic, temperature extremes, rotten food in outdoor garbage cans, poison bait, toxic chemicals, polluted water sources, all kinds of diseases that pass easily and quickly from one animal to another – the list is endless.

  Unless you live in a unique situation like author Ted Kerasote, or you have neighbors like the ones described here, I don’t recommend you allow your precious dog or cat out of your yard or your sight.There are certainly as many creative ways to give your pet safe access to the outdoors as there are people to come up with them, but simply putting your pet outside to fend for herself isn’t among them.

• #2. Feed your dog or cat a species-appropriate diet
• When it comes to helping your pet live as nature intended, one area where you can exercise enormous control is with the food you feed your companion.

  Lack of adequate exercise is also a big risk factor in creating a too-heavy cat or dog. Every animal is designed to be physically active for optimal health. Not only does lack of exercise help to pack on the pounds, it can also cause extreme boredom and lack of mental stimulation, which in a dog in particular, can result in a whole host of behavior-related issues.

• #4. Refuse unnecessary vaccinations.
• Dr. Becker, a Holistic Vet that formulated the PET ENZYMES that I encourage all my puppy customers to use, has said in her own words…
• quote“unnecessary vaccinations, and by that I mean yearly re-vaccinations of the core vaccines (distemper, parvo, adenovirus for dogs; panleukopenia, calici, herpes for cats), or any non-core vaccines your pet doesn’t absolutely need.”"Over-vaccinating can create serious short and long-term health problems. Yes, many pets have enjoyed long lives despite yearly re-vaccinations, but many others have developed vaccine-associated sarcomas, autoimmune disorders, and other life-threatening diseases. In fact, we may never know how many conditions seen in today’s pets were caused by too many vaccines.”"Vaccine-related illness is almost entirely avoidable, because as more and more pet owners and vets are coming to understand, there’s simply no need to re-vaccinate for the same diseases year-in and year-out.” Unquote
• According to the new American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) vaccination guidelines for 2011, yearly re-vaccination of the cores is no longer recommended. And in fact, the AVMA has acknowledged immunity lasts at least five years for distemper and parvo, and at least seven years for adenovirus.Read this article for a thorough discussion of the latest AAHA vaccination guidelines, followed by Dr. Ronald Schultz’s vaccine protocol and mine. • #5. Perform at-home exams and schedule regular wellness visits with your vet.
• Dogs, and especially cats, are stoic when they don’t feel well. And of course your pet can’t talk to you and tell you she hurts or feels sick. That’s why it’s so important for pet parents to do routine at-home wellness examson their companion animals.This is a great way for you to learn what your pet’s body feels and smells like normally, so you can detect any changes as soon as they occur, and take appropriate action. It’s also a great bonding opportunity for you and your dog or cat.

  Often pets aren’t seen by a vet until an illness is in an advanced stage. This usually means the animal has been suffering for some time, and sadly, it often means there’s no way to stop or reverse the progress of the disease. Not every condition can be detected by a physical exam, of course, but you’d be surprised how many potential health crises have been averted by an alert pet owner who detects a problem and makes an appointment with the veterinarian.

  I also encourage you to have a holistic practitioner on your pet’s health care team. There is a lot that can be done to improve the health and quality of life of your companion beyond the traditional Western medicine model of drugs and surgery.

  A holistic vet, an animal chiropractor, a veterinary acupuncturist, an expert in physical rehabilitation for pets — these practitioners can offer a wealth of healing therapies to relieve the suffering of sick animals and keep healthy pets well.

The ShepaDoodle is a wonderful dog, People have not heard much about this mixed combination yet. However, just because it’s a mixed dog does not mean that the ShepaDoodles are mutts.

In fact, these dogs are far from it. These dogs are bred together for a reason, and that is to give it special traits. In the case of the ShepaDoodle, it was bred together to have a low shedding quality. This makes it a great indoor dog, and that is pretty much what the ShepaDoodles are meant to be. These are not really working dogs, just companionship dogs. They are there to “hang out” with people, love to please, and take commands willingly.

The ShepaDoodle does do a good job taking commands for the simple reason that they are a smart dog. They learn quick, and they are fun to hang out with.
The combination of the two breeds, (a purebred German Shepherd Dog and a purebred Standard Poodle)  gives you a puppy that is fun-loving, extremely smart and loyal – Plus minimal or no doggy odor.

They will shed minimally, and some may not at all. A bonus to this is the fact that they are less prone to health problems!  Many breed specific illnesses are avoided. This is called “hybrid vigor.”

*Medium size, average weight about 50 pounds. They have been known to get up to 100 lbs, but more apt to be in the 50-80 pound weight range when fully grown. Parent’s size and weight will be a factor of course.

They are very smart and learn very quickly.

*Size: 22-26+ inches tall and any where from 50-85+ pounds or more, when fully grown.

*Characteristics: very strong dogs.

They can have the tendency to over guard.

*Family Dog: good family dogs with proper training and socialization.

*Color: black, tan, cream, solid black, solid white, solid sable and Silver.

*Coat: dense, harsh, thick, stiff, flat, coarse coat, or, soft shaggy hair.

*Grooming: require daily brushing to maintain a well groomed appearance and help with the little bit of shedding they have.

*Training: very intelligent and obedient. They require thorough discipline and early training.

*Weather: prefer cooler climates.

*Exercise: need daily exercise.

(Few people know this …. but “Poodle” is actually German for water or “puddle”, as the Standard (Large) Poodle was originally bred in Germany as a Water-dog, a hunting dog for water-foul! The smaller breed sizes and fancy doo’s came much later as their reputation for intelligence and as excellent companions grew and they became desirable as house pets for the Aristocratic crowds)

***Intelligent breed, they are loyal, great watch dogs, and an all around excellent faithful companion and pet!

Many of the ingredients are food products that have been rejected for humans to be able to consume, but yet, it’s OK to feed to our dogs and cats? And we wonder “why” our pets have allergies, weaknesses, and are getting cancer, HELLO !!!

Thought you may enjoy a Christmas picture of Lucy and the kids.  She is as good as ever.  Has the best temperament that I have seen in a dog.  I owned a shepherd and George owned a standard poodle as a kid and this is the best combination.  The kids can have their faces in her food bowl while she is trying to eat and she does not care!  She is extremely protective of my kids and most all kids that walk in the door.  It’s been a lot of fun.
